The Pre-Visit
virtual consultation

Our very first step in the extension process will submit your Extension Pre-consultation Form. This will help me to be fully prepared for our in person consultation and help me to keep all your info nice and organized. Think of this like a chart that a doctor keeps. (I have been known to be called the hair doctor from time to time 😉

Here, you'll be able to spill your frustrations that you're currently having with your hair, attach inspiration photos, and show me what your current hair is like.

the in person consultation

This is a 30 minute session in which we will discuss the details laid out in your form, discuss any frustrations or damage you may have, as well as go over maintenance and answer ALL your questions.

Once we make a plan on how to get from (A)where you are now to  B)your dream hair, we will go over total investment that your transformation will require.

At this point, if you are ready to go ahead and book your install date (YAY!), you will pay 50% of your install price as a non-refundable retainer to secure that appointment. This insures I have plenty of time booked off JUST for you. I'll also  be able to go ahead and make any custom color adjustments to your extensions prior to your appointment if need be.

If this sounds good to you, hit the button below to get your virtual consultation started!

the install appointment

This is where the magic happens ✨

  • Upon arrival, I will have you fill out a little something called my "Experience Customization Form". This will allow you to let me know exactly how you would like your visit to go: from what beverage and snack you would like, to choosing between a quiet appointment or getting to know each other more, to customizing your appointment with any of the many complimentary treatment additions that I have available. We believe in being extra around here!

  • We will go over our plans for the day once more, just to be totally clear on our goals and make sure we are on the same page. After that, we will proceed with your custom color and install. Before you leave, I will go over everything with your from aftercare, to maintenance, how to style, and answer any and all questions that you may have. You will be sent home with your very own digital aftercare guide for reference and, of course, you can reach out to me anytime with any questions you may have.

  • Before you leave, we will book your next appointment and take our after pictures/ videos (if you're comfortable with that). I love to see the confidence overflowing during this time. It's my favorite part!

after goodbye

Don't worry, you're not on your own! I'll be checking in with you periodically to make sure you're still loving your extensions and that you don't have any questions.

If there is any point between appointments when you need to pick up any additional product, I can have that packed up and ready to go for you at any time during business hours. Be sure to ask about our product loyalty rewards program.

📸 Send me all the selfies! I love it when my guests tag me in their photos & stories. I enjoy getting to see all the different styles and ways that my guests wear their extensions in every day life. I always appreciate the shout outs. You never know which one of your friends might be my next transformation!

  • How much hair will I need?
The amount of hair you will need completely depends on each person's individual goals and starting point. If you have naturally fine hair, you may not need as many rows/ pieces of hair to make them look natural as someone with thick hair. At the end of the day, my goal is to make these extensions look like they were grown from your own head- whatever we need to do to make that happen, is what we do!
  • How much does the 1st install cost?
The average investment for an initial extension install varies greatly from person to person because of the level of customization for each individual. For example: how many rows or pieces, how much hair, how many wefts on each row, and the length of the individual wefts themselves all affect the price. New installs include a beautiful full size aftercare kit, a digital PDF aftercare guide, the hair, and the labor. This is the largest investment you will make during the course of wearing extensions . After this, you will only pay for move ups and replace the hair as needed. If you would like more specifics, please fill out my digital consultation form.
  • How long will the hair last?
This will completely depend upon what method we choose to utilize for your hair. For example, with weft extensions, the hair can last anywhere from 9-12 months if very well taken care of. This is completely based on the wearer. At your install appointment, I give you everything you need to take the best care possible and to get the most longevity out of your investment.
  • What methods of extensions do you offer?
I am 5 (soon to be 6x) certified in multiple different types of extensions. This allows me to FULLY customize your extension experience to whatever is best for your hair, scalp, and lifestyle. The different methods that I use are: IBE (Invisible Bead Extensions- these are weft or beaded row extensions), Combline (this allows me to add hair directly into the part line and around our face), K-tips, and mesh topper extensions. To find out which method or combination would be best for you, fill out my virtual extension consultation form.
  • Will extensions make my hair fall out?
The honest answer: they can: BUT, with proper installation and home care they are completely safe for your natural hair. That is why at your initial install appointment, I will be going over exactly how to care for your investment from start to finish. I also have a full PDF extension aftercare guide including everything from how to sleep to how to care for your extensions at the beach/ on vacation, emailed directly to you during your install appointment. Experience and knowledge are THE most important thing to look for in an extension artist. Issues due to incorrect installs can consist of: hair loss due to stress on the follicles, scalp redness and irritation, beads and hair falling out during wear, hair that has NOT been custom colored ->doesn't match, therefore shows during wear, and more. The photo on the left is a recent before picture of a situation that a dear client of mine was dealing with from another local salon before starting her journey with me.
  • Willl I have to wear extensions forever?
Not unless you want to! Goals vary from person to person. Some people are wearing them just to grow out a haircut or severe damage, some people take them out temporarily for certain seasons, some people don't even like to take them out long enough for a move up and want to keep them forever. This entire extension thing is tailored. to. you.
  • What is maintenance like for extensions?
Over time, your extensions will grow down with your natural hair. You will need to come in for "move ups". These appointments will need to be every 6-8 weeks depending on the individual.
  • What are wefts and rows?
A weft is a single piece of hair made up of single strands, woven together to create a whole piece similar to a clip in weft, except a much more dainty and discreet. I am able to take these and stack them together on a row of beads to create density based on the needs of the client. A row is a series of beads installed horizontally around the head from one side to the other. This is the foundation of the extension installation and where the wefts are sown onto.
